Beverly Ann Pinder

Beverly Ann Pinder, 77, of Plymouth went to be with her Lord at 7:05 a.m., Thursday, May 18, 2023 at her home with her husband, Jerry, by her side.

Born on February 12, 1946 in Trent, Texas, she was the firstborn child of Clayton and Doris Hood. Her mother was born Grace Walton and changed her name at the age of 16 to Doris Smith.

On August 23, 1965, she married Jerry Pinder while both were in the Army at Ft. Dix, NJ. He survives.

She was a dedicated nurse for over 30 years, working in Chicago before moving to Plymouth.

Bev enjoyed reading and playing computer games.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Pinder of Plymouth, son, Darren Pinder (Vanessa) of Knox, grandchildren, Brett Kersey, Jared Fawley, Brendon Pinder, Jacob Pinder,  Abigail Pinder and Olivia Tallarita, brother, Wayne Hood of Kauffman, TX.  and sister, Marie Bannister of Trinidad, TX.  She is also survived by an Aunt, Dorothy Russell of Abilene, TX.  and cousins, Charles Russell of Abilene, TX. , Janice Walton Patton of Celinas, TX. and Bonnie Walton of California. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by daughter, Deanna Hale, son, Kerry Pinder, brother, Terry Hood and sister, Gail Pinder.

Funeral Services with Military Rites and Nursing Honors will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Metzger Chapel, Kewanna with Chaplain Wyatt Smith officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Burial will follow at Citizens IOOF Cemetery in Kewanna.
